Cabinet Refacing Doors Supplier
Doors, drawer fronts and panels for refacing work. On a reface the boxes stay and everything the customer sees is new, so the parts have to match each other exactly and fit a face frame somebody else built. That is a different ordering problem from a new kitchen and it is worth saying out loud.
Everything has to match, including the flat parts
Doors and drawer fronts are the easy half. The job falls down on the parts nobody lists: exposed end panels, the filler beside the range, the toe kick, the panel on the back of a peninsula. Order those in the same species, profile and finish at the same time as the doors. Matching them afterwards from a different run is where a reface stops looking like a reface and starts looking like a repair.
Sizing to a face frame you did not build
Give us finished door sizes, not opening sizes. You know the overlay and the reveal you are working to, and on a reface the existing hinge pattern usually decides both before you get a say. Sizes are cut to 1/16″.
Measure the openings, decide the overlay you can actually achieve given what is already there, and send the finished sizes you want. If the frames are out of square — and on an older kitchen they usually are by a little — size to the worst opening in a run rather than the best, because a reveal that varies across a run is the thing the customer notices from across the room.
Hinge boring
Specify the boring per door, or leave the doors unbored if you prefer to bore them against the frames once they are in front of you. On a reface with existing frames, boring in the shop against a measurement is a real risk and plenty of refacers choose to do it on site. Either is normal; tell us which.
Finish
Thermal foil (RTF) is worth considering on a reface: the colour is identical from the first door to the last, there is no spray booth and no cure time in your schedule, and it does not need a controlled room. The limitation is heat — keep it away from a wall oven surround or an unprotected cooktop run, where a painted or stained door is the better answer.
Ship windows
Unfinished doors ship in 10 business days, finished in 15. Blind shipping is available on any order — ask for it in the order notes, which on a reface is usually the point.
