Terms of Service

Crafted Cabinetry takes the privacy of your personal information seriously. We want you to know that we do not share, sell, or trade any of our customers’ private information. When you place an order on our website, your credit card information is encrypted and transmitted over a secure connection for approval.

Shipping

We primarily use FedEx for our custom product deliveries. If FedEx is unable to reach the customer to schedule a delivery, we will try to reach the customer using other contact information entered in the order. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure successful delivery. Failure to do so may result in storage and/or re-delivery fees.

Shipping Lead Times

We have it posted on multiple banners across the site, and you can also see our Frequently Asked Questions page for current lead times. At the very least, the shortest construction time for even the most basic unfinished product is 7 BUSINESS days.

Cancellations or Change Request

Once your order is placed with Crafted Cabinetry, no cancellations or changes can be made (after 24 hours of order submission), as production begins immediately after. Please double-check your order before submitting it to ensure accuracy and avoid any issues. We do not alter measurements, except for converting fractions to decimals. We do not pay for customer mistakes! If an order is canceled after 24 hours, a refund will be prorated based on the progress. A 35% proration fee will be enforced on cancellations to cover expenses. A 25% restocking fee will be assessed for any returned parts related to cabinets. Before submitting, please carefully review your order, as construction will begin 24 hours after it is received. 

Customizations to orders

If you need any customizations that cannot be specified during the checkout process, please send an email to information@craftedcabinet.com with your order number and customization instructions. Some examples of such customizations include custom bore placement, finger pulls, custom stiles, and rails.

Returns

Crafted Cabinetry has a no-return policy. All wood products are custom-made, and we have no standing inventory.

Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Items

Please remember to open and inspect all packages within three days of receipt. If you receive damaged items, you must report the issue to information@craftedcabinet.com or speak with a representative from Crafted Cabinetry within 30 days of the delivery date. If you do so, Crafted Cabinetry will replace or rebuild the damaged items free of charge. However, if you fail to report the damage within 30 days, you will be required to repurchase the items at your own expense.

Please do not reject any shipments, even if they appear to be damaged. If you receive a package that appears to be damaged, please accept it and report the damage to information@craftedcabinet.com. We will respond quickly with instructions on how to proceed and resolve the issue.

Colors and Appearance

Crafted Cabinetry cannot guarantee that the colors will be accurately represented on your monitor or in printouts from our website. We do not guarantee that the actual items will match the images of unfinished samples or photos of our products displayed on our website. Please note that the wood we use may have slight variations in appearance due to its age and origin, which may impact the final natural product.

Typographical Errors and Revisions

Crafted Cabinetry is not liable for website errors. Details may change without notice. We may reject orders due to any errors or unavailability at the listed cost. Check your selections before checkout and order confirmation email for accuracy. Contact us right away to correct errors. You will be responsible for additional charges if you realize an error after delivery or staining.

Size

Please review the measurements on the product pages to ensure suitability for your space and requirements. We cannot accept cancellations or provide refunds if an item doesn’t fit or is unsuitable. Extra charges may apply for alterations or transportation. Thank you for understanding.

Design, dimensions, availability, and prices.

Crafted Cabinetry reserves the right to adjust prices and designs without prior notice. We also reserve the right to discontinue items without prior notice, and some items may be temporarily out of stock. Please note that sale prices advertised in ads or on our website are applicable only to the specific items mentioned in the advertisement, unless otherwise stated. These sale prices cannot be combined with any other offers and cannot be applied to previous sales. Please be aware that sale dates are determined by the date the order is placed.

The Limits on Our Warranty

Crafted Cabinetry is a company that produces and delivers unfinished and finished products across the country. However, once the products are received, it is impossible for us to monitor the conditions under which they are kept. If there are any claims on an order or material discrepancies, they must be made within three (3) days of receiving the order and before hinging, hanging, or finishing the product. Doors cannot be returned without prior written approval, and they must be returned in their original condition to our offices for inspection. If an item has been hinged, hung, or finished, shows signs of exposure to moisture, heat, or sun, shows signs of job site neglect, or is modified in any way, it shall be deemed accepted by the buyer, and any warranty will be voided. 

Products ordered outside of standard specifications, such as sizes greater than the maximum listed sizes or removal of required center rails, will not be covered for any damages, including warping, twisting, or damage in transit. If our products are handled according to the recommended guidelines, most problems can be minimized. Please keep in mind that you are dealing with an unfinished wood product that can warp, twist, or crack within twenty-four (24) hours if not treated or handled correctly.

Please take note of the following important guidelines regarding our products, which require your special attention.

Wood is a natural material that expands and contracts due to changes in temperature, humidity, and other conditions. This means that it can warp, twist, or crack if proper precautions are not taken during storing, handling, and finishing operations. To prevent warping or twisting, center rails should be placed as needed.

It is strongly recommended that doors be finished and sealed in a timely manner to preserve and enhance the quality and beauty of unfinished wood products. Extra sanding steps may be necessary before applying the finish.

Unfinished wood needs protection from moisture and extreme fluctuations in temperature and humidity. When delivered to a construction site, unfinished doors can be affected by temperature changes as much as 30 to 50 degrees from day to night, causing warping or twisting within 24 hours. To avoid this, all windows and exterior doors should be in place and the house should be at occupancy level conditions before delivery. Also, make sure that any new drywall or plaster has had at least 2 weeks to dry.

When jobs are finished on site, doors are often not removed from the cabinet prior to finishing. This can result in unfinished areas that allow moisture to be absorbed through the door, causing swelling, warping, and twisting.

Crafted Cabinetry strictly adheres to these recommendations: Unfinished millwork should never be delivered to a job site that is under construction and open to the elements. Doors should not be exposed to abnormal heat, cold, extreme dryness, humid conditions, or sudden changes. The entire door must receive two coats of a good-grade finish, including the front, back, top, bottom, sides, and all cutouts. Crafted Cabinetrywill not be held responsible for damage due to these situations, as they are not considered a defect.

Our Guarantee

Please inspect all products upon receipt. Our guarantee covers the replacement of doors and drawer fronts in an unfinished and good condition, as originally delivered F.O.B. at our factory. Any variation from our normal construction specifications is not guaranteed, such as reducing the thickness of the panel or frames. A warp or twist of 3/16″ of an inch or less is not considered a defect. To measure a twist, please place the face of the door against a true plane surface. Doors are manufactured to the nearest 1/16th of an inch with a tolerance of 1/16th of an inch. Please note that Crafted Cabinetry will not be held responsible for any delays caused by factors beyond our control. There are no other warranties of any kind, expressed or implied.
