Cabinet Door Cut List Order
Send a cut list, get a quote back. One wrong overlay number on a forty-door order means forty wrong doors, so this page is the format we use on our own kitchens and the checks that catch the mistakes before anything is cut.
Send your cut list here — attach the file and you get a price back within one business day.
What we accept
A CSV, an Excel sheet, a PDF, or a KCD export. A photograph of a handwritten list is fine too and we will read it back to you before anything happens. There is no software you need to own to order here.
The five things every line needs
- Width by height, in that order, and say so at the top of the sheet. Half the ambiguity in cut lists is somebody listing height first without mentioning it.
- Finished size, not opening size. Decide your overlay and reveal before you measure anything, then send the size you want made.
- Which part it is. Doors, drawer fronts and panels in separate groups, not interleaved. Drawer fronts mixed in with doors is the second most common cause of a remake.
- Hinge side and boring, per door, or a note that you are boring them yourself.
- Grain direction and pairs. Say which doors are a pair, because a pair that is not marked is a pair that may not match.
The two-minute check before you send it
Add up the door count and compare it against the kitchen. Look for any size that is identical to another when it should not be, and any that is wildly different when it should not be — a transposed width and height shows up instantly that way. Confirm the overlay you used is the one your hinges actually give you.
What comes back
A priced quote against your list, with anything we could not read flagged as a question rather than guessed at. Nothing is cut until you approve it. If a size looks wrong against the rest of the run, we will say so before we build it, because a remake costs us both more than an email does.
Then what
Unfinished doors and drawer boxes ship in 10 business days from approval, finished doors in 15. Blind shipping is available on any order; ask for it in the order notes.
Send your list
A CSV, a spreadsheet, a PDF, a KCD export or a photograph of a handwritten list. Say in the notes if anything on it needs explaining, and ask for blind shipping there if you want it. Nothing is cut until you approve the quote.
