Buying boxes in is cheaper than making them, and most cabinet shops work this out the hard way. A dovetailed drawer box is a setup, a run and a clean-up on a machine that could be cutting parts you cannot buy. These are soft maple, dovetailed on all four corners, built to the sizes you give us.

What arrives

  • English dovetails, four corners. An interlocking joint, not pinned or stapled.
  • Bottom glued and stapled into grooved sides. A loose bottom is what rattles two years in.
  • UV-cured clear coat, top edges bullnosed and sanded. They go in finished.
  • Widths to 72", and ten box heights from 2 1/4" to 11 1/4".

Undermount notching

Add notching on the product page and the boxes arrive ready for the slides — a jig you do not have to set up and a step you do not have to schedule.

For Salice Progressa undermount slides, the inside drawer width is the opening width minus 42 mm (1-21/32"), and the slides suit sides 13 mm (1/2") to 16 mm (5/8") thick. If you are working to a different slide, give us the inside width you want and we will build to it.

Ordering

  • Priced on the page as you enter sizes, before you order.
  • No minimum and no trade account. One box or sixty.
  • About two weeks, shipped nationwide.
  • Blind shipping on request. Your shop is the name on the paperwork.

Blind shipping

Boxes can go straight to your customer or to the job site with your shop as the shipper on the paperwork and nothing in the carton that names us. Ask for blind shipping in the order notes — it is a standing option on any order, so a drawer pack can land on a job three states away without a second company appearing in front of your client.

Every box is made in the United States and carries a limited lifetime warranty on materials and workmanship.
