English dovetail joinery, four corners. An interlocking joint rather than a pinned or stapled one, which is what keeps a drawer square under daily load. Bottom glued and stapled into grooved sides, not dropped in loose. A loose bottom is what rattles. UV-cured clear coat, with the top edges bullnosed and sanded so they do not catch on linens.
Getting the size right This is the measurement most orders get wrong. For Salice Progressa undermount slides, the inside drawer width is the opening width minus 42 mm (1-21/32"), and the slides suit drawer sides 13 mm (1/2") to 16 mm (5/8") thick. If you are fitting undermount slides, add the notching option on the product page rather than cutting it yourself after delivery. What else a drawer needs A working drawer is three parts, and the slides do not include the other two: one slide pair, two front clips, and in a face-frame cabinet, rear sockets.
